Ms. Cardenas was invited to testify at the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee hearing entitled "Oversight of the Federal Bureau of Prisons" on September 29, 2022 in regard to her experience in the FBOP and her opinion on subjects related to prison reform.

Ms. Cardenas is committed to fostering opportunities for individuals who were formerly incarcerated. Driven by a passion for changing current sentencing guidelines, Cecilia works tirelessly to create a fairer justice system.
CC & ASSOCIATES FINANCIAL
Ms. Cardenas is owner and founder of CC & ASSOCIATES FINANCIAL. She started this nationwide accounting firm in 2022 while attending Saint Ambrose University, working on her bachelor's degree majoring in accounting. CC & Associates Financial offers one time free business consultations to those who were formerly incarcerated and need guidance in starting their own business.

Ms. Cardenas is owner and founder of CC x CECI. She started this business due to her passion for all things fashion. Since she was a young child she has always obsessed over having the perfect outfit and even designed dresses. CC x CECI is an online boutique with women's dress clothes, bags and fashion jewelry.
